PT Black is a lower-profile entry in TTC's linear lineup, built entirely in black from stem to housing — a straightforward, all-dark aesthetic rather than the RGB-forward clear shells found elsewhere in the catalog. It hasn't built the same community following as TTC's silent or Hall Effect switches, but its numbers stand out on paper: a 4.0mm total travel, longer than the roughly 3.5–3.8mm range most MX-style switches use.

That extra travel means more distance between the top of the stroke and bottom-out compared to a standard linear — a small but real difference for anyone who prefers a longer runway before the keystroke completes.
