For cloth mouse pads, soak them in warm water with mild soap or dish detergent, gently scrub with a soft sponge or microfiber cloth, rinse thoroughly, and then air dry completely. Avoid drying machines!

For other materials, like felt you will need cold water, a mild soap or wool wash, and a clean towel. Damp the area you want to clean only.
