Let's start with the positives:
- The deskmat looks really good
- The design is very original
- It has very good quality stitching
But the experience using it is far from ideal in my experience.
I unrolled it unto my desk and it didn't sit flat. So I put weights to make it flat. After more than two days with weights, it didn't change much. That makes the experience using the mouse pretty inconsistent and annoying.
Apart from that, the texture from the deskmat is very rough like a slow control mouse pad, I used other mouse pads before, even cheap ones made from cloth and all of them were smoother and more balanced. I am not talking about speed mouse pads, so I think the comparison is fair.
Also, the stitching is not flat with the surface, that's a detail that could be improved.
The blue photo is a random mouse pad as reference for texture. The photo with the mouse shows how the deskmat does not sit flat with the desk after two days with weights and the white photo shows the texture of the deskmat
If you look for a beautiful deskmat and don't mind these issues, go for it.
